20th April marked a special day at the IMBS Green Campus as staff members resumed their normal office routines after the joyful Sinhala and Tamil New Year vacation. To honor this significant cultural event, the campus organized celebratory activities, including the traditional ritual of “Kiri Ithireema” and a festive Sinhala and Tamil New Year Sweet Table.
As the staff gathered on the morning of 20th April, there was a palpable sense of excitement and renewal. The Sinhala and Tamil New Year, celebrated by Sinhalese and Tamil communities worldwide, is a time for family, gratitude, and cultural traditions. It symbolizes new beginnings, prosperity, and the strengthening of communal bonds.
