The Department of Psychology and Counselling Studies at IMBS Green Campus has continued its mission of nurturing young minds with yet another successful workshop. This time, the program aimed at developing children’s mental and practical skills in Child Development Centers, which operate under the Department of Probation and Child Care Services.
On August 26, the department organized a one-day workshop for the children of Rammuthugala Certified School and the young learners from the Isuru Child Development Center. The event saw the active participation of dedicated lecturers and diploma course students, all eager to impact these children’s lives positively.
Empowering the Future Generation
The central focus of this workshop was to empower children with the knowledge and skills necessary to overcome life’s challenges and excel in their personal and academic lives. The team from IMBS Green Campus worked tirelessly to create an engaging and enriching experience for the young participants.
A Day of Learning and Fun
The children were welcomed to the Rammuthugala Certified School, where the workshop began. The atmosphere was enthusiastic as young minds gathered to explore, learn, and grow. The day was divided into various sessions, each designed to cater to the specific needs and interests of the participants.
The Road Ahead
This workshop was just one step in the ongoing journey to empower and support children from Child Development Centers. IMBS Green Campus is committed to continuing its partnership with the Department of Probation and Child Care Services to ensure these young minds are equipped with the tools they need to succeed in life.
As we look ahead, it’s clear that the Department of Psychology and Counseling Studies at IMBS Green Campus is making a meaningful impact on the lives of children in our community. By fostering their mental and practical skills, we are helping to shape a brighter future for these young individuals.
We look forward to the next chapter in this growth, learning, and empowerment journey.
